    hi
i wud like to knw d meaning of pungent as it shows here “mentally stimulating”…i was under d impression it will be related to something bitter??
    Regards

  5. Team LearnWordlist.com on November 1st, 2009 5:16 pm

Hi Parul..the word pungent has mostly to do with smell than taste..if you look at the word bitter it immediately refers to taste..so pungent is definitely a smell that is mentally stimulating..just imagine the odor of Acetic Acid ( Vinegar) and Liquid Ammonia..how do they smell..pungent, don’t they?

Naveen ,it is ggod that you scored decent in these test but,you must complete all the words 3500 words of Barrons before final test.

  21. nivrutti on September 18th, 2010 1:48 pm

its very good practice when u have already finished vocabulary from good book……………..its very hard to find exact meaning when the all the options close to each other

  22. saravan on September 19th, 2010 6:42 am

the best part of these tests is that apart from testing words from barron…we also get some extra words..i was suggested the site by my faculties….wud be helpful if exams like cat are also taken into account..

  23. Team LearnWordlist.com on September 20th, 2010 5:21 am

Saravan thanks for your comment, We are soon coming up with new portal that will only specific for CAT exam.
