    To moderators or owners..

Question 8 of this section contains a bug and there is no display of any questions or options..

Question 9 “kaliedoscopic” is misspelled instead of “kaleidoscopic”.

    Thank You!

Is the pattern of tests here always the case in GRE Exams? it’s easy to eliminate answers and identify the pattern, i.e. 3 choices are parallel in meaning, leaving therefore one with different meaning which usually turns out to be the correct answer. So even if you really don’t know the meaning of the word, such a method of elimination aids the examinee in getting the correct answer. I am expecting a rather more difficult GRE Exams.

Thank you so much for your time.

Hi Rania, thanks for the comment. Rania there is nothing called the GRE pattern..a GRE exam can question words that are tough and at the same time we do find many easy words like orient, jagged, confuse, menace, hasten in the exam. If you are able to eliminate answers easily it means that u worked a lot acquiring vocabulary and ur reasoning skills are fairly on the higher side. And to tell you, a student with above average vocabulary comprehension can easily eliminate the unnecessary option choices. And GRE never places a student in a very difficult situation of choosing answer choices that are beyond his/her comprehension. Although you find, you seldom find words like curmudgeon. However we are going to design some really tough GRE Antonym/Sentence Completion questions to help the student brainstorm and do some mental workout..Have you taken the Antonym tests? Pls do..

    Regards,

Can i kno if this will be the pattern in the revised gre? Nd how many months of preparation will land me in a good university?

  23. Team LearnWordlist.com on July 7th, 2011 5:01 am

Sowmya, how many months of preparation will be sufficient, this totally depends upon you. However i would say 3- to 4 months will be sufficient.

Got something to say?
