Thanks for your support, What is the pass mark for GRE

  11. Team LearnWordlist.com on September 29th, 2009 2:09 pm

Hi George, there is nothing called pass mark in GRE. There is no such official cut off by the ETS…but try scoring above 550 in Verbal and 700 in Quantitative..this is an acceptable score…this score coupled with your other academic credentials and a compelling Statement of Purpose will hopefully get u a decent University…

  18. vaibhav on October 27th, 2009 1:35 am

what is the descent score to get A+ universities through GRE……?

  19. Team LearnWordlist.com on October 27th, 2009 7:36 am

Hi Vaibhav, if you are talking about A+ Universities you should also be considering your academic performance. For A+ Universities however your GRE Score should be on the higher side…above 700 both in Quants and Verbal and something above 5 in Analytical Writing Assessment…

  20. Ade on October 27th, 2009 4:09 pm

U have done a great work on this site, but please can u help me with tips for craming this words

  23. Team LearnWordlist.com on October 28th, 2009 3:33 am

Hi Vaibhav, it depends on the University and the program you are applying for. You have to couple this score with a good GRE score..however I have seen many students enrolling at a university in the US with an aggregate like/lesser than yours..so pls do not worry..

  24. vaibhav on October 28th, 2009 10:09 am

thanks alot….! you people are doing a great great job….!
it feels too good to get replies so frequently…..

  25. vaibhav on October 28th, 2009 10:31 am

Can u help me with universites sir ………. like what are the factors which i should look at , before opting for any university ?

  26. Team LearnWordlist.com on October 28th, 2009 3:46 pm

Vaibhav it depends on the program that you are opting for..and the specialization you are interested in..until u decide that, you cannot shortlist a University..

  27. vaibhav on November 1st, 2009 2:44 pm

i’m currently in my 7th semester of comp. engg. can u suggest me d best time that when should i take gre…..

as upto my knowledge all universities over there have first come first serve basis …. i know i’m already late but i want to know if i’ll take admission in 2011 summer, wat is the best time for me to take gre …..so that i can get best universities…. some of my frnds sent there scores almost one year before so that they can get a good
    A / A+ university with a descent score….

  28. vaibhav on November 1st, 2009 2:45 pm

waiting for ur reply sir…..! thanking u

  29. Admin LearnWordlist.com on November 1st, 2009 3:22 pm

    Hi Vaibhav,

There is nothing like first come basis admission.. Admission depends on your GRE score, Recommendation Letter, GPA and your Essay..

Best time to apply is Fall 2011 session.. where most of the universities take students..

Apply atleast 1-2 months before the deadline to be considered for scholarships and financial aid application…

To search courses please use our search engine…

    http://college-university-links.com

    i hope this will help.

    cheers,
    Amit

  30. vaibhav on November 2nd, 2009 3:40 am

yes all of ur suggestions are very helpful for students like us who dont have any coaching institute in there city or any teacher who can guide us…… thanks alot alot alot….!!!!!!

  31. vaibhav on November 2nd, 2009 3:57 am

so most probably i should send my score in mid-october or late september……. ? can u tell me the deadline date or month for maximum universities ?

  32. vaibhav on November 4th, 2009 7:13 am

i’m still waiting for ur reply sir…. :-(

  33. Team LearnWordlist.com on November 4th, 2009 12:08 pm

Hi Vaibhav, I think Amit gave you a comprehensive reply..did you follow the link he suggested???..he also suggests you to apply at least a month prior to the deadline..I think that was a clear reply..Vaibhav did you read the websites of the Universities you want to apply?..thoroughly that too..the admission criterion and all?..most of your queries will be answered in the University website itself..
