Plz guide me to prepare for GRE, I hae done MSc. in Computer Science
    thank you

  29. Team LearnWordlist.com on October 19th, 2009 4:18 pm

Dear Arpita, u can select a slot for taking GRE. You have to make an online payment and register for a slot at ets.org. You need to acquaint yourself with the examination pattern and identify your strengths and weaknesses..there are 3 main components in the exam..Verbal reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Analytical Writing Assessment. Verbal and Quants are evaluated on a score of 800 points each and Analytical writing on a scale of 6. You need to get at least 550 in verbal and 700 in quants and 4 in Analytical Writing to secure a decent University. Your academic score also matters though. Is that clear Arpita? Do get back to us if u still have doubts.

  45. Team LearnWordlist.com on November 24th, 2009 6:56 am

Top University requires best score..and that too economics you will certainly face a lot of competition..you need to have a compelling academic track record with pertinent field work/thesis..supported by highly impressive Recommendation Letters from your HODs..

  57. Ogungbeje Oluwatobi Emmanuel on January 24th, 2010 11:34 pm

I wanted to apply for SEG Scholarship to study Geophysics at Master’s level at the University of Houston; but I could not do so due to their request for GRE score, among other things. Please sir, does it means that all tertiary institutions in the USA have this(GRE) as a stringent condition (pre-requisite) for admission without waiver even for someone like me that made C4 in Standard American Examinations Board (SAEB)? Can your scored test be presented for admission? Or to what extent can your ” GRE Online Test” be used for this purpose since I did well in those ones I answered so far ? Well, I need to be perfectly enlightened.

  58. Team LearnWordlist.com on January 25th, 2010 9:17 am

Hi Emmanuel..we do not officially conduct GRE..we only train students for the exam..yes u need to qualify GRE in order to get into any good American University..there is no escape from GRE..:-)

  63. Team LearnWordlist.com on February 16th, 2010 4:30 pm

Hey Ariel we do not offer any scholarship..u need to take GRE first..scholarship is decided by the University based on your academic competence and GRE score..

  64. Team LearnWordlist.com on February 16th, 2010 4:31 pm

Hi Ariel..GRE is Graduate Record Examination..not a language improvement course..one needs to take this exam if one aspires to pursue Master’s Program in the US.
