    SENTENCE COMPLETION

    1) In Q5 ….Why is “participating” not the right choice?
    2) In Q19 : Subservient;Subjugate;Subordinate;Subdue are almost alike in meaning….How did we narrow it down to Subjugate?

    Thanks for the help

    Regards,
    Tabish

  40. Tina on June 5th, 2011 4:43 am

The questions on the GRE are MUCH harder. The vocabulary is not as easy as this practice test shows. Do any of you know what the words esoteric, conglomerate, taciturn, reiterate, neophyte etc mean? Those are the types of vocabulary words on the actual GRE sentence completion exercises. These practice tests are good to start if English is not your first language, but as practice for the GRE, I found these practice tests to be too easy in comparison to the actual test.
