  1. Abduction: carrying of a person by force
  2. Arson : intentionally setting fire to property
  3. Assassination : murder of a public personality
  4. Battery: physical violence upon another person
  5. Bootlegging: illegal production, distribution or sale of something already owned or copyrighted
  6. Break-in : illegal entry of another’s property
  7. Bunko: swindle by taking advantage of a person’s ignorance
  8. Counterfeiting : manufacturing of fake money
  9. Defalcation : failure to meet promise
  10. Embezzlement : theft of money or appropriation of property
  11. Extortion : demand for payment by force or threatening
  12. Felony: serious crime
  13. Frame : falsely accuse an innocent party
  14. Graft : bribery especially of public figures
  15. Gunrunning : smuggling of fire arms
  16. Hold up : armed robbery
  17. Infraction : violation of law
  18. Larceny : theft of personal property
  19. Libel : publication of statement damaging to another’s reputation
  20. Malfeasance: a wrong doing committed by a public official
  21. Manslaughter : taking of human life by accident or negligence
  22. Mayhem : willful infliction of bodily injury on another person
  23. Mugging : robbery especially in public place
  24. Mutiny : a military rebellion against the authority
  25. Peculation : embezzlement of public funds
  26. Perjury : lying under oath/giving false testimony n court
  27. Pilferage : theft of small amounts done over a time to avoid detection
  28. Piracy : bootlegging
  29. Plunder: robbery by force especially during war time
  30. Poaching: taking of fish or game from private property or protected reserve
  31. Racketeering : operation of a business characterized by systematically dishonest practices
  32. Rustling: stealing usually cantle or horses
  33. Safecracking: forcible entry into locked safe to steal its contents
  34. Sedition: incitement into rebellion against government
  35. Shoplifting : theft from store by person posing as customer
  36. Slander : making of false or malicious verbal statements
  37. Subornation :inducing another to commit an illegal act especially forgery
  38. Swindling: performing fraudulent business transactions
  39. Treason: betrayal of one’s country or government
  40. Vandalism: defacing or damaging of another’s property purposelessly
