- Askew : twisted to one side
- Aslant : obliquely at a slant
- Azimuth: of horizon measured clockwise from fixed point at North or South
- Beeline : direct course
- Circuitous : following an indirect path
- Linear : moving in a straight line
- Oblique : slanting or sloping
- Obtuse : an angle greater than 90 degrees

- Acicular : needle shaped
- Acute : of an angle less than 90
- Anchor : object that has broad hook like arm
- Annular : ring shaped
- Apical : narrowing toward a pointing tip
- Arcuate : curved like a bow
- Bolus : lumpy rounded mass

- Catenate : chain like in shape
- Circinate : ring shaped
- Convoluted: twisted or coiled
- Cordate : heart shaped
- Crook : bent or hooked form
