  2. AnuVeluri on March 26th, 2009 3:26 pm

Hi Nita, u should commit yourself to vocabulary learning. It is something that cannot be achieved overnight. You have to select 5 words at least from the lists daily and understand the meaning of the words, know their usage and jot them down in your personal vocabulary notes. The results will be amazing. Trust me!!

    Regards,
    Anu

    Hi,
How can I use my already learned vocabulary when I speak or when I write something?
    Regards,
    Dina

  4. AnuVeluri on April 21st, 2009 9:02 am

Dear Dina, I suggest you read our blogs. You will surely get some idea. U can start relating the word you learned either to a person or a situation you know. You will never forget the word.

For eg: look at the word ‘loquacious’ which is a high frequency GRE word..it means talkative..now relate that word to one of your friends who is talkative..say Shreya is talkative..use the word there..Shreya is loquacious..did u get me?

    Regards,
    Anu

    Hi Anu,
I would like you to please guide me how to use the word nonce in a sentence:

    Will it be:
    # I have a year to go for the GRE, nonce, I am continuing my personal studies.
    Or,
    # We better get our blankets out: nonce winter.

    ?????

  17. AnuVeluri on October 30th, 2009 3:39 pm

Hi Esha, nonce is for the moment..so you can use it in the similar form..hmm for example..Her interest vanished for the nonce. Hope it is clear..

  18. esha on October 31st, 2009 11:57 am
