Has the GRE pattern changed recently? If it has, what are the changes?
Yes the GRE pattern did change..there’s going to be a clozed paragraph test of a diff nature..and a surprise section pertaining to either quants or verbal ability…Pls do log onto the official site of GRE run by the ETS for a better understanding..
Regards,
Anu
hello,i found this website very interesting and i am amazed to see so many practice tests available on on site..i heard from random people that gre pattern has changed and that we now have to write 3 instead of 2.is that so?.if so,whats the 3rd essay-argument or issue?..and has integration and differention been included in the quantitative test??..i checked the ETS site but it doesnt say anything about this..
Krithika, a surprise segment has been introduced to the GRE…this surprise segment could be either from the Verbal or from the Quantitative Aptitude.
The duration of the surprise segment will be 30 mts.
Regards,
The surprise segment will be of 30mts and it will not be accounted for the final score. ETS just wants to experiment with the surprise section
