hi!, let me try to explain that in some of “my” books tthere are rules showing that ‘ too ‘ has two meanings-a/ more than enough; b/ repeating the same as the first part of the saying. But the place we have to put it is different. in a/ -in front of the pronoun, adverb.. ., in b/ at the end of the sentence; have to put comma before it.

    Hii Shipra,
I am a bit confused with usage of until and unless could you please elaborate, because in the example given both are conditions.
    Thanks.

  35. shipra on October 11th, 2010 4:38 am

Thanks for your comment Priyanka.Let me explain you:

Until/unless until means ‘time before’ and unless shows ‘condition’.

I cannot go there unless you tell me to go. (Not until).

Until you work hard, you will improve. (Not unless).
I cannot go there unless you tell me to go. ( this denotes the time, i will wait for the time when you will tell me to go)
Until you work hard, you will improve.( this shows condition, in order to improve you must work hard(this is condition)
